Privacy Policy

Straight answers about what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. No dark patterns, no jargon walls.

Effective date: July 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AJM Consulting LLC ("AJM Consulting," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ajmconsulting.us (the "Site") or contact us about our bookkeeping and business consulting services. AJM Consulting is a founder-run practice based in Kalispell, Montana. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, our bookkeeping intake form, or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, details about your business and its finances, and any message you send us. Our intake form is designed to help us prepare a tailored bookkeeping proposal, and the business and financial details you provide there are used solely for that purpose.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and how you interact with the Site. We use this information to understand traffic, improve the Site, and measure the performance of our advertising.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services;
  • Prepare bookkeeping proposals and deliver the services you request;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • Measure and improve the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising;
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the Site.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies from third-party providers to understand how the Site is used and to measure our advertising. Specifically:

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated, largely anonymized data about how visitors use the Site (such as pages visited and general location). This helps us improve the Site and our services.

Google Ads conversion tracking. We advertise through Google Ads. When you arrive from one of our ads and then take an action such as submitting a form or clicking our phone number, Google Ads records that action as a "conversion" so we can measure which ads are working. This uses cookies set by Google.

Enhanced conversions. To improve the accuracy of that measurement, we use Google's "enhanced conversions" feature. When you submit a form, this feature may send a hashed (one-way encrypted) version of information you provide, such as your email address, to Google. The data is hashed on your device before it is transmitted and is used by Google only to match your conversion to an ad interaction โ€” it is not used by us or Google to identify you for any other purpose.

Your choices. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage how Google uses your data for advertising at myadcenter.google.com and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business and provide our services, including with:

  • Service providers that host and operate the Site and store form submissions on our behalf (for example, our website hosting and database providers);
  • Google, as described above, for analytics and advertising measurement;
  • Legal and safety recipients, when required to comply with the law, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of AJM Consulting, our clients, or others.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Data retention

We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and meet our legal and business obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. If you would like us to delete information you have submitted, contact us using the details below.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information (such as bank login credentials) through the Site's forms or by email.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses of your data. We honor these requests as required by applicable law and do not discriminate against you for exercising them. To make a request, contact us using the information below.

Children's privacy

The Site and our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the Site after any change means you accept the updated policy.
